Terms & Conditions

1. What Quest at Home is

Quest at Home generates a printable escape-room game — puzzles, hiding spots, hints and an answer key — based on the age, theme and household items you tell us about. Games are produced by an AI model and are intended as a family activity. There is no account to create.

2. Free and paid

You can generate a game and view a preview for free — the story and the first 2 clues, plus the titles of the rest. Unlocking the full game — every clue, the answer key, hints and the printable pack — is a one-time payment of $5.49 (an introductory launch price, 50% off our regular price of $10.99; the introductory price is available for a limited period and we may end it at any time). Payment is per game, not a subscription. Nothing recurs and we do not store your card details.

3. How long your game stays available

Because there is no login, the link we give you is your access to the game. Keep it safe.

  • • Your game link works for 30 days from purchase. After that it stops working and shows an expiry notice.
  • Print your pack before then. Printed pages are yours to keep and reuse forever — the time limit applies only to the online link.
  • • We keep purchase records for 90 days for support and accounting, then delete them permanently.

If you lose your link within the 30-day window, contact us and we can re-send it to the email address on the purchase.

4. Refunds

If the game you receive is broken, unusable, or clearly not what was described, contact us and we will refund you in full. Because the product is delivered instantly and can be printed immediately, we cannot generally refund a game simply because you changed your mind after unlocking it.

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights, which vary by country and always take precedence over these terms.

5. AI-generated content

Puzzles are generated by an AI model. We tune them for the age you select and check the structure, but AI output can occasionally be imperfect — an ambiguous clue, an awkward phrase, or a puzzle that is easier or harder than intended. Please read the whole pack before playing, as the answer key lets you correct anything on the spot.

6. Safety — please supervise

Games suggest hiding clues around your own home. You know your home and your children; we do not. An adult is responsible for choosing safe hiding places and supervising play. Do not use hiding spots involving heights, sharp or heavy objects, water, electrics, locks, or anywhere a child could become trapped. Quest at Home is not liable for injury or damage arising from playing a game.

7. What you may do with your game

Your game is for personal, family and household use: print it as many times as you like, reuse it, and play it at your child's party. You may not resell it, redistribute it publicly, or use it as part of a commercial or paid-entry event without our permission.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to overload, scrape, or automate the generator, work around usage limits, or submit content designed to produce harmful or inappropriate output. We apply rate limits and may decline or withdraw service where use appears abusive.

9. Availability

We aim to keep Quest at Home running reliably, but it is provided on an “as available” basis and depends on third-party services (payment, email, AI). We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If a fault prevents you accessing a game you paid for, tell us and we will fix it or refund you.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with Quest at Home is limited to the amount you paid for the game concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version shown here at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.

12. Contact

Questions, refunds, or a lost link — reply to your purchase email and we'll help.
